Want to be a character in Killer Moves?

Killer Moves is the 4th book in the Jolene Jackson Mystery Series. How would you like YOUR NAME to be included as a character in Killer Moves? How cool would that be???

Well, not so fast... You have read the other three books, right? Here's the catch--no guarantees on who, what or how--yeah, it might not be pretty.... It will, however, be fun!

So, here's what you do:

Come on, it will be fun! And you'll be a true "character" forever!

Hmmm...don't see a box on the left for updates. I think I already get them. Regardless, I love this series! I think of the North Texas town where my parents now live - we refer to the DQ there as (their church's name) South b/c anytime you go there you will see many of the seniors from their church. I recently turned my daddy onto this series, too.

      Lisa,

Thanks for letting me know about that. I meant to say on the website--I'll fix it. Not sure how you are getting the updates, but if you want to be in on the drawing for the Character Naming Contest, please complete the form on the website. Then again, you've read the books, so maybe you don't want to! ha! Thank you for your support and for sharing these books with your dad.

      I really appreciate you!

Thanks. I was on the website (got there via Goodreads). Once I paused Ghostery, the subscribe box appeared. However, when I clicked on the confirmation link in the e-mail I received, it said Error 404: Page Not Found. I tried several times. So, I don't know that I'm confirmed...

Just a reader, but I love the way you bring a small Texas town to live. When I was a kid, most of my mother's family lived in the area we called "West Texas", actually just south of the Panhandle, and I have lived most of my adult live in small towns near the Victoria, Corpus and Houston, so reading your books is a bit like visiting family and friends.

I also enjoy your characters, humor, relationships, and mystery. To round it up, love you books. Thanks for the laughs!

      Jeannie,

I am so glad you are enjoying the stories! These characters and the setting are like going home for me too. I have so much fun! In fact, I'm working on a scene now that I am going to incorporate a bit of "cemetery truth" into the storyline, albeit very differently than the way it really is. The real story is way better, but, alas, this is fiction... and oh, the troubles that are afoot!

I've got to get back now and see what's going on! (yes, I know it is only going on in my head, but that's how it feels! ha!)

      Thanks so much for writing!

So excited for the next book!!! I've missed Jolene! I cannot wait to see what kind of trouble she manages to get into next!

      Hi, Sarah!

I've missed her too. I was so busy on the nonfiction side promoting Living the Life You Love that I was having a bit of withdrawal pains. I have to say that people can tell when I'm writing Jolene. Yes, it can get a bit wild. And yes, there are definitely troubles afoot in Killer Moves in spite of how it seemed like she sort of won the lottery. Yes, well, not exactly...

Oh, wow, I better get back in there and see what happens next!

Thanks so much for saying hello!
